Welcome to our wonderful, warm and friendly school.
Whether you are a prospective parent considering Phoenix for your child, a new family joining our community, a returning parent, or a visitor to our school, you are very welcome. We are a school where everyone is greeted warmly, treated with respect and made to feel part of our community.
At Phoenix Private School, we are proud to be a co-educational school welcoming students from Foundation Stage to Year 9, offering a high-quality English National Curriculum within a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment. With over 50 nationalities represented, Phoenix is a truly diverse and global community where every student is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their potential.

We are delighted to be a QNSA-accredited school, achieving an Effective rating across all standards, reflecting our commitment to high-quality education, strong leadership and continuous improvement. We are also recognised as a bronze Global Award School, celebrating our commitment to developing globally aware, responsible and engaged young people.
Our mission is to develop future leaders capable of making positive global change — we challenge today to create a better tomorrow. We aim to develop Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors, underpinned by our core values and shared ethos of Achieving Together.

Ministry Diamond Award: Recognised among the Top 6 schools in Qatar for the My Values Shape My Identity initiative.

Student Achievement: Celebrated success in external competitions, including 1st Place in the Interschool Arabic Spelling Competition, alongside strong participation and achievement in Kangaroo Maths.

Teaching & Learning: Further developed our STEM, Gifted & Talented and careers provision, becoming the first school in Doha to deliver the My Compass Today Careers Programme.

School Development: Enhanced our learning environment through improvements to the Sports Hall and Key Stage 3 areas, while strengthening partnerships with the Ministry, Al Waha Special Needs Center and other key stakeholders.

Professional Development: Became an accredited Best Practice Network Provider for NPQs, supporting high-quality professional development for educators within our school and wider community.

WASC Accreditation: Continued our journey towards international accreditation with the successful submission of our Initial Accreditation Report, with our accreditation visit planned for Term 1, 2026–2027.

Academic Excellence and Innovation: We will provide an ambitious and engaging curriculum with high-quality teaching, effective feedback and appropriate challenge for every student. We will use data effectively to support progress and achievement while continuing our journey towards WASC accreditation.

Community, Staff and Resources: We will work closely with families and our wider community, invest in our staff and continue to enhance our facilities and resources to provide the best possible learning experience for every student.
