Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)

In Key Stage 1, the curriculum becomes more structured, helping children build solid foundations in literacy, numeracy, and enquiry-based learning.

Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History 

In line with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar, all students receive structured instruction in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History.

Assessment is integral to our teaching and learning process. It helps us identify strengths, support areas for development, and set personalised targets.

  • Formative: marking, questioning, discussions, peer/self-assessment 

  • Summative: quizzes, tests, projects, presentations, formal exams 

  • Standardised: GL, CAT4, and internal benchmarks 

  • Reporting: Three formal reports per year, with parent-teacher conferences to review progress and next steps
