A Message from the Principal

Welcome to our wonderful, warm and friendly school.

At Phoenix, we proudly offer a high-quality English National Curriculum in a nurturing, inclusive and co-educational environment. Our school is a vibrant, respectful community where every student is known, supported and inspired to reach their full potential. We are especially proud to represent over 50 different nationalities, making Phoenix a truly diverse and global learning community.

We are guided by a shared purpose and clear direction. Our mission is to develop future leaders capable of making positive global change — we challenge today to create a better tomorrow. Our vision is to prepare Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.

We are also proud to be recognised as a Bronze Global Award School, reflecting our commitment to internationalism, global citizenship and preparing students for the future.

School Priorities 2025–2026

1. Academic Excellence and Innovation

We are committed to raising academic standards through a challenging and innovative curriculum that prepares students for success at all stages. This includes improving teaching and learning outcomes, especially in Key Stage 3, developing support for Gifted & Talented learners, integrating STEM and AI programs, and expanding participation in national and international competitions. A key goal is achieving WASC international accreditation.

2. Student Development and Wellbeing

Our focus is on creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all students can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. We prioritise wellbeing, positive behaviour for learning and global citizenship education that fosters ethics and sustainability. Initiatives such as My Compass Today and the Common Sense School programme help support this holistic development.

3. Community, Staff and Resource Development

Strengthening our school community is essential. We aim to deepen family and community partnerships, support and retain motivated and skilled staff through professional development, and invest in facilities and resources that encourage innovation and growth, including a new building project and training for staff.

We are equally proud of our ‘Effective’ ratings in all categories under the Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA) — a reflection of our consistent focus on quality and continuous improvement.
