Wellbeing and Belonging
We recognise that pupil wellbeing is central to learning. Our pastoral support systems are robust and proactive, helping students to build resilience, self-confidence, and positive relationships. Staff receive regular training to ensure early identification of concerns and effective intervention.

Assessment Types Across All Stages:

-
Formative: marking, questioning, discussions, peer/self-assessment
-
Summative: quizzes, tests, projects, presentations, formal exams
-
Standardised: GL, CAT4, and internal benchmarks
-
Reporting: Three formal reports per year, with parent-teacher conferences to review progress and next steps

Curriculum and Inclusive Practice
All students have access to the full curriculum, which is carefully adapted to be inclusive, relevant, and aspirational. Teachers use high-quality resources alongside digital tools and differentiated planning to ensure accessibility for all.

Our Commitment to Families
We work in close partnership with parents and carers, recognising them as key partners in the success of every child. We are transparent in our approach and maintain regular dialogue through meetings, reviews, and updates.

Continuous Improvement
Inclusion is embedded in our school development priorities. We regularly review policies, practices, and outcomes to ensure that every child continues to feel a sense of belonging and has every opportunity to succeed. We are proud to be a community where diversity is celebrated and difference is seen as a strength.
