I am writing to introduce myself as the new Head of Key Stage 3

I am a dedicated and experienced educator and leader, and I have been part of The Phoenix Private School community for over five years. During this time, I have taught Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and have held a range of leadership roles, including Deputy Head of KS3 and Head of STEM and Innovation.

My experience across these roles has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of both the academic and pastoral needs of students. I am committed to creating a structured, supportive, and consistent learning environment where all students feel confident, engaged, and able to achieve their full potential.

I have a particular interest in developing innovation and problem-solving skills through STEM, alongside ensuring high standards in teaching and learning across KS3. I believe in promoting positive behaviour, supporting student wellbeing, and working collaboratively with staff and families to ensure a smooth and successful school experience.

As Head of Key Stage 3, my focus is on maintaining high expectations, clear communication, and a strong sense of community, ensuring that every student is supported throughout their journey at this important stage of their education.​
