I am an experienced educator and leader who has been part of the Phoenix community for over five years. During this time, I have taught Computer Science across the school and held a range of leadership roles, including Deputy Head of KS3 and Head of STEM and Innovation. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of our students, staff, curriculum and the wider needs of our school community.

My approach to leadership is centred on high expectations, consistency, clear communication and strong relationships. I believe that students thrive when they feel supported, challenged and confident in their learning, and I am committed to creating an environment where every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

I have a particular interest in STEM, technology, innovation and developing students' problem-solving skills. Alongside this, I place great importance on high-quality teaching and learning, positive behaviour, student wellbeing and ensuring that students are well prepared for the next stage of their education.

As we move into the new academic year, my focus is on continuing to strengthen KS3, supporting our staff and students, and building on the progress already made. I look forward to working closely with students, families and colleagues to make KS3 a positive, successful and enjoyable experience for every student.
