Youth Leadership Programme

The Youth Leadership Programme organised by The Next Generation School is a powerful competition that aims to provide young people a platform to speak about themes that matter to them. Students in years 8 and 9 were given a theme of "I wonder" and "My World" to explore and create vidoes and speeches on topics important to them. Students chose to present ideas about the conflict in Syria and having gratitude for opportunities we have, the impact of words on others, global warming and how social media is affecting our relationship with others and the world. Students worked over the last three months to produce their projects and what is remarkable is seeing how their confidence levels blossomed through the experience. Well done students for standing out and good luck for when the final results are published.
